This Privacy Policy describes how DeeperQuiet collects, uses, stores, processes, and shares information when you use DeeperQuiet.com and related services.

1. Information We Collect

### Account Information

When you create or use an account, we may process information such as:

  • your email address;
  • authentication identifiers;
  • account and profile information;
  • account creation and sign-in information;
  • information required for account security.

### Study and User Content

When you use DeeperQuiet, we may store content you choose to create or save, including:

  • Bible studies;
  • study titles;
  • research cards saved to studies;
  • notes and journal entries;
  • prayer or reflection content;
  • selected Scripture references;
  • study organization and preferences;
  • other material you intentionally save.

### Bible Reading and Research Context

To provide reading and research features, DeeperQuiet may process information such as:

  • Bible translation selected;
  • Scripture book, chapter, verse, or passage reference;
  • user selections or highlights;
  • selected research category;
  • research requests and resulting study material.

Some Bible text is subject to publisher licensing restrictions. DeeperQuiet may use separate Bible sources for AI processing when required so that restricted translation text is not transmitted to an AI provider in a manner prohibited by applicable licensing terms.

### Technical and Security Information

Our technology providers may process technical information necessary to operate and secure the Service, such as:

  • IP address;
  • device or browser information;
  • user-agent information;
  • authentication events;
  • security and abuse-prevention information;
  • error and diagnostic information.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • create and authenticate accounts;
  • provide Bible reading and study features;
  • save and retrieve your studies and notes;
  • provide research and AI-assisted features;
  • maintain your preferences;
  • protect accounts and prevent abuse;
  • diagnose technical problems;
  • maintain and improve the Service;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Artificial Intelligence Processing

Certain DeeperQuiet research features may send information to third-party AI services to generate requested research or analysis.

Depending on the feature, the information sent may include:

  • a Scripture reference;
  • Bible text from a source permitted for AI processing;
  • the research category or question;
  • other context necessary to perform the requested research.

DeeperQuiet is designed to limit unnecessary personal information in AI requests.

Your private notes, journal entries, prayers, or other personal study content should not be transmitted to an AI provider unless a feature clearly requires that content to fulfill a request you initiate.

AI providers process information according to their applicable business/API terms and privacy practices.

4. Bible Content Providers

DeeperQuiet may retrieve Bible content from third-party publishers, licensors, Bible platforms, or APIs.

A Bible-content request may require transmission of technical information such as the requested translation and Scripture reference.

Bible content providers may have their own privacy and technical-processing practices.

5. Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to operate DeeperQuiet.

These may include providers for:

  • authentication;
  • database and cloud storage;
  • hosting and infrastructure;
  • artificial intelligence;
  • Bible content;
  • security and abuse prevention;
  • email or account communications;
  • diagnostics or analytics if enabled.

These providers process information as necessary to provide their services to DeeperQuiet and according to their applicable agreements and policies.

6. Firebase and Google Services

DeeperQuiet currently uses Firebase services, including authentication and database functionality.

Information processed through these services may include account identifiers, email addresses, authentication information, IP addresses, device information, and application data stored by DeeperQuiet.

Google may process this information on infrastructure located in the United States or other locations permitted by the applicable Firebase service configuration and terms.

7. Data Sharing

We may disclose information:

  • to service providers operating on our behalf;
  • when necessary to provide a feature you request;
  • to protect the security, rights, or integrity of DeeperQuiet or its users;
  • when required by law, legal process, or valid government request;
  • in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law.

We do not disclose personal information to advertisers for targeted advertising, and DeeperQuiet does not sell personal information.

8. Data Retention

We retain account information and User Content for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, satisfy legitimate operational or security requirements, and comply with applicable law.

Some operational backups or logs may remain for a limited period after information is deleted.

Where account-deletion functionality is available, deletion requests will be handled subject to legitimate security, legal, backup, and technical-retention requirements.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

No internet service or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for protecting access to your authentication credentials and devices.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, or information about processing.

You may also be able to manage or delete certain information directly through DeeperQuiet.

Requests concerning privacy rights may be submitted through the contact method published on DeeperQuiet.com.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests.

11. Cookies and Local Storage

DeeperQuiet and its service providers may use cookies, browser storage, authentication tokens, or similar technologies when necessary to:

  • keep you signed in;
  • protect account security;
  • remember application preferences;
  • maintain application functionality;
  • prevent abuse.

If optional analytics or other non-essential tracking technologies are introduced, this Privacy Policy should be updated before or when those technologies are enabled.

12. Children

DeeperQuiet is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through self-created accounts.

If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected in a manner requiring parental consent, we will take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.

13. International Processing

Our providers may process information in the United States and other jurisdictions.

If you access DeeperQuiet from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in jurisdictions with data-protection laws different from those where you live.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as DeeperQuiet changes.

Each version will include an effective date and version identifier.

When changes are material, we may provide additional notice or require users to acknowledge the updated policy before continuing to use certain authenticated features.
